To fulfill their role properly, the laity must place a premium on self education. Even the very best US Catholic colleges today (with precious few exceptions) unwittingly indoctrinate our children with the writings of our sainted post-V2 popes and "the Council" (hint, not Trent). How many of our Catholic colleges
offer exclusively traditional worship on campus? Perhaps one?
There is only one college that is exclusively traditionalist: the Collegium Sanctorum Angelorum. However, they do not have a chaplain or chaplaincy of their own, but (as of this fall) rely on the daily Masses of a parish run by the Institute of Christ the King, Old St. Patrick's in Kansas City.
My alma mater, Thomas Aquinas College, amazingly offers the TLM 7 days a week (!) at both campuses, California and Massachusetts (!!).
Most of the other Newman Guide colleges have limited availability of the TLM, either once in a while on campus or off-campus in a nearby town.
I was thinking Kansas as well - the SSPX's St Mary's College. I wasn't aware of the Collegium Sanctorum Angelorum - impressive! The greater KC area has many good options for trad Catholics.
Great stuff, thanks. Check out Michael O’Brien’s novels about what Catholics are faced with when the hammer comes down. Ordinary people, Catholics and others, building a new smaller, materially poorer but spiritually richer life in the not too distant future. There is something about Cardinal Newman isn’t there? He has a charm about him that warms my heart while it stimulates my mind.
I enjoyed this! Thank you, Mr Kwasniewski. May the peace that our Lord offers be with you always and all of us. May He continue to strengthen your ministry.

You are right! I knew that but blanked out. So there are two colleges exclusively TLM. The rest muddle along.
Newman was not only a theologian and saint, but also a true human.
