So you are moving to a plan where you provide content only for paid members? I'm sorry to see that, since like many many others, I can't afford subscriptions to all the Substacks I'd like to keep reading. Sorry to lose out on what you are writing. I wish you were sorry to lose me and others like me.
There is the same mix of free and paid articles at Pelican+ as there is at this Substack, so I'm not quite sure what your complaint is.
Every Monday here is paywalled, every Thursday & Friday are free. The same at Pelican+. So you're not "losing anything" nor do I want to lose any of my readers.
But there is a key difference.
Here at Substack, people pay $8/month just to access my articles. At Pelican+, those who pay the same (actually $7.99) gain access to me, Timothy Flanders, Kennedy Hall, Edward Schaefer, Nicholas Cavazos, Murray Rundus, Brian McCall, Michael Haynes, Angelia Erickson, and many more. It's a hundred times better a deal.
I went to Pelican today and didn't see a way to read anything. Sorry, but it didn't say Monday only. So I thought it was paywalled every day. God bless you at your new platform.
I tried to create an account before I wrote my comment. The only thing I saw was a Subscribe button, and all the options were paid. I just now found you can create an account by clicking Contact. But that didn't stand out as the right word to create an account. Thanks, now I know.
This could in fact be the greatest sentence ever enunciated.
It is a wonderfully magnificent thing my friend.
Yes
Dr. K is a strong and excellent man.
God loves.
Yes. I really enjoy listening while I work. I miss that ability.
The audio file is available at Pelican+. There is no difference.
Your work and meditations are wonderful. Thank you much.

You can create an account for free, and then access many of the Tradition & Sanity articles here:

Roseanne if you are a paid subscriber to Tredition and Sanity you can transfer your payment to Pelican+
I wrote I can't afford subscriptions. So there is no paid membership to transfer.
