Although the photos of the Cristero masses were black and white and thus colors couldn't be seen, it appears that the vestments worn by the priests (and servers) were of the "nice" variety. Such a contrast to too many of today's ideological sacks for presiders or what rebels like the Liberation Theologians, Dan Berrigan, etc. wore.

Exactly. Honestly, one of these Cristero Masses has more evident faith and love than the entire CELAM structure.
And frankly, the bayonets are a nice touch. Think how useful they'd be against liturgical abuses!
